Surprise!

This Katydid nymph looks surprised to see my lens thrust in his face.  I did see 4 bees on the holy basil where this Katydid is.  I wonder if they are from a hobbyist hive that hasn't been destroyed yet.  There was a brief spell in the weather and a bit of sun and they were busy at it.  Unlike today (backblipped 3 July 2022) where it is absolutely torrential rain and the type you think about where the plans for the ark are.
