Conifer crazy

For some reason I've started noticing conifers - Blackheath is stuffed with them. But which conifers?? So I now have 2 trays of small specimens cluttering up the house, the 40x lens at the ready, and my ID attempts can only get better. We had 105ml rain to 8.00 this morning, and it's rained solidly ever since: peering at conifer foliage is as good a way to pass the day as any!
