It’s out!!!

A dramatic birth took place right before our eyes this afternoon at Foel Farm. The first-time mum had been in great difficulty for many hours eventually walking towards us and then lying on the ground near the play area. She looked and sounded to be in some distress but with some expert help from the farm hands her large calf was delivered. Initial concern about the viability of the calf and the health of the mum soon gave way to cheers as both gradually recovered from the ordeal.
