Summer Sunset

Had a change of pace kind of day to escape after a stressful week. We went to what was called a peonies and ice cream event. I thought that sounds great… get done peonies … eat ice cream amongst bouquets of them….
But when we got there no crowds which was great as covid is still around here… but where was the festival I anticipated of the ice cream and peonies. There were quarter size ice cream samples and peonies you could but from cold storage. What a hoot! We sampled the three ice cream flavors and I bought some peonies — then we headed back and picked up delicious sandwiches and home in time to watch a great Seattle Mariners baseball game. Big R even canned 12 jars of strawberry jam ;)!
In the evening we took cowboy for a cooler greenbelt walk and then off to get this sunset . Nice relaxed day
