This is the view I got from my bed so it felt as if I was on a lovely summer holiday rather than here to be hacked to pieces in the operating theatre.
My friend is coming to collect me st 11.00 and we will go to collect the discharge medication then she’s taking me back to her house for a lunch of pate brought back from her recent trip to France, cheese from yesterdays visit to the Golden Guernsey  Goat farm and wine. Sounds like a perfect way to re-enter the outside world!
