Broad acres

My second cousin is getting married in Germany next weekend. We can’t make it, sadly, but my cousin Chris agreed to take a card and present with her from us.
Chris has just tested negative having had Covid last week, but her husband Carl is still testing positive so we dropped the bits in with them but didn’t stop.
Still the drive between here and their house near Penistone is spectacular. We stopped for a picnic in the car on the way home. As well as the views we had fun watching a skylark tending her fledgling chick while we ate. Joyful.
Home now and tired having done little more than sit on my bum for an hour or so. I’m sure energy levels will recover soon. No danger of us overdoing it in the meantime.
