The view from Slate Fell.

It's a 5 mile round trip to the top of Slate Fell and back from our cottage in Cockermouth.

There was heavy overnight rain, but we stayed dry on our walk.

The view is looking towards Buttermere...Whiteside and Grasmoor on the left, and Red Pike Buttermere and Melbreak on the right.
