Butterfly Bounty

Another Buddleja blip - it’s just amazing how this bush attracts bees and butterflies of all kinds. Today’s new visitors were a pair of common swallowtails (main blip), and a red admiral (big photo in the extra).
I also loved to watch the hummingbird hawk-moths hovering in midair, and the nervously fluttering common brimstone. The meadow browns and cabbage whites were a lot less nervous. But none of them wanted to open their wings for me, so you get to see them in profile only.
