Balancing Act

This adult and juvenile herring gull (LARUS ARGENTATUS) were having fun in the afternoon sunshine in Tobermory harbour. Some of the buoys proved easier to land on than others. This buoy had some tasty snacks in the centre which he juvenile was enjoying.

I love the way it looks like he showing the adult his latest trick - look I can stand on one leg!
