The Bridge over the Atlantic
The Clachan Bridge connecting the Island of Seil to the mainland over the short stretch of water is always known as the title. Built in 1792 by engineer Robert Mylne, this striking hump-backed bridge has stood the test of time and looks set for many more years of serviceable life. The extra also shows how well built it is.
July in Argyll and it felt like the middle of the Atlantic at times.
