Kayaking on Lake Windermere

We were up and away early this morning as we had a session booked with a local company to go kayaking.

This was MrsT & L’s first time going solo as previously they’d always gone with a duplex kayak.

Both did very well and we were out for nearly 3 hours with a lunch pit stop in between.

Afterwards we enjoyed an archery session where L got two bullseye’s in quick succession. She must be a natural!

MrsT didn’t do too bad either.

After ice cream and coffees we headed down to Bowness for a wander and got more bbq supplies then enjoyed a nice dinner back at the lodge.

Proof of pay it forward: when leaving Windermere I gave a lady our parking ticket as had paid for the full day. She thanked us. When we arrived in Bowness, someone gave us their parking ticket which had 90 mins left on it. We thanked them.
