Still Life 2 (Sunday 3rd July 2022)

I've probably been overthinking the gin tasting I have planned for this evening - the tonics in the fridge, the garnishes and infusions, the spring water ice from the freezer and the all-important gins themselves to choose.

I had problems getting the flash unit to work in this dark alcove, with the bread bin being used as a shelf, and I wondered if the newly-returned Panasonic LX100 had a new fault, but eventually, after a careful study of the manual (always a last resort) it told me that if the electronic shutter was used, rather than the manual shutter, that disabled the flash. Who knew, and why? As you see, with that corrected it all worked.
