Shard reflections

We went up the Shard this morning. Amazing views and the weather was kind to us. I took loads of pictures but its really difficult (impossible) to avoid internal reflections from the windows.

I therefore chose this picture with deliberate reflections. It involved standing in the middle of the road by a bus station! Jane managed to snap a picture of a window cleaner abseiling past the window on the observation deck. Sadly I was round the other side at the time. It will make a great entry in the 'Men at work' section in our forthcoming village photo competition.

This afternoon we went to Greenwich to see the Ansell Adams exhibition. There was an excellent conducted tour/lecture. It's interesting to note how much he used post-processing to enhance his images and the guide observed that he would probably have been a great fan of Photoshop.
