Three...

I was delighted to find 3 juv short eared owls this morning! They were distant but clear in my bins... a delight. I went back this eve but the 'big lens' brigade were there & that's not my thing. I'm hoping the juvs stay hidden - otherwise there will be even more people in the 'big lens' brigade. I've nothing against folk wanting to take pics...that's me all over. However, last year they got silly and went walking up the hill in the hope of a closer pic. In reality, the owls went further away and I didn't blame them. 

Hopefully that will not happen this year.
