Important Visitor

I think that this is a kite, but I normally recognise them by their shape and by the way that they fly.  It was perched, rather precariously, on these wires just off the edge of our back garden when I managed to get a quick shot from a bedroom window.

Of course it flew off when I ventured into the garden for a closer shot . . .
