The Harbour Office

Another Georgian building overlooking the harbour. For over two centuries Fraserburgh Harbour Office has been the base for the Harbour Commissioners who oversee harbour activities and are responsible fir all aspects of harbour development. It is also houses the Customs and Excise Office. The busy harbour is used by shipping ranging from small creel boats to vast deep sea vessels and has a busy fish market. The extra shows nets spread out to dry on the quayside.
