Llanelli Beach

A trip to South Wales today. We were due to travel tomorrow, but wanted to avoid the planned fuel protests that are expected to create traffic chaos tomorrow on the Severn Bridge. Unfortunately an accident had closed the M4 creating long tailbacks and a diversion through Newport! Today’s blip is a detail from the beach at Llanelli. Coal was once exported from here and it was a major centre for smelting tin, much of which came from Cornwall.
