We went to the Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary near Looe today: https://www.monkeysanctuary.org

They rescue monkeys who have been pets etc and give them a safe home free from abuse etc and in massive enclosures.

Still not in the wild but a lot more free than they were.

I had no idea that monkeys were kept as pets by people in the UK ...
