Recognizing And Honoring Our Blessings!

Tomorrow is the day that we celebrate our country's birthday, so today was a day filled with patriotic music and recognitions in addition to our normal praise and worship.  The choir, orchestra and various accompanists presented a heart-felt version of "If My People"  just before Pastor Wes took us back into Habakkuk, Chapter 2, where we were reminded that sin, on any level, has real  consequences and will be dealt with in God's timing.  If you watch the Livestream, you will see just how seriously God takes it and how it applies to our times just as it did to Habakkuk's time.  At the end of our service, we prayed for our youth going to camp this week and we had a slideshow honoring  our members who have helped to keep our country free and safe over the years.  In the extras, I have put a collage of some shots taken for me by my daughter of this evening's Freedom Fest presentation of patriotic music and prayer for our country.......
