The party's over

Judging by the state of these balloons, tangled at the bottom of a road sign, the party's definitely over! Went past them on my walk down to the river this afternoon. A bit further on I stopped for a while to watch the heron (extra), which was strutting about at the top of the weir.

Started sorting through the old photos - at least I sorted through one boxful. Predictably, it was a time-consuming exercise, pausing to try and remember who... when...where...why... . So many memories of good times past!
