Stuck!!!

Guess what happened to me this afternoon? I went to the St Erth river for my walk and was having a lovely time jumping in and swimming around in the cool clear water until...................... I dived in off a rock without first assessing how I was going to get out. Normally I'm quite a cautious little collie pup. OMG! It was a bit scary. I was in deep water. Actually it wasn't really that deep. It would probably have come up to Ann's knees. I didn't have anything to push myself off to get back onto the rock. And even though I was trying and trying, I was getting more and more tired. Ann told me to swim up or down river to find an easier get out spot but I didn't understand what she meant so I just kept trying to get back onto the rock that I'd dived off. Eventually Ann had to scramble down the river bank and haul me out by my collar because obviously she wasn't going to leave me stuck in the river forever?!!!
