Twin orchids

These are common spotted orchids (named for their spotted leaves rather than their flowers). Blipped at Harlaw Reservoir on a walk with T starting at Threipmuir Reservoir, one that I've done countless times, but I never get tired of it. 

We might have gone further afield but Alfie had developed diarrhoea on Friday night and I didn't want to leave hime alone for too long. He was fine in himself and I think it's an exacerbation of the mild bowel condition that he has, so I wasn't too worried, but if nothing else it was a question of keeping up with cleaning the litter trays.
