Collioure

Cycled to Collioure. A really pretty seaside place much nicer than any we’ve found on the Côte d’Azur. It has an arty vibe with lots of little narrow colourful streets. And anchovies. You can get anything as long as it’s got anchovies in it. For lunch we had anchovy salad and we’ve just had a pizza with anchovy on it. There are anchovy boutiques selling about a thousand products made from anchovies. 
If you go snorkelling you can even see them swimming around.
We really like the place.
It’s so so hot though. Chilling out tomorrow in and out of the sea all day to keep cool I suspect

Distressed to read that one of my favourite places in the world the Marmolada Glacier in  the Italian Dolomites has collapsed killing several people. One of the most spectacular mountains I’ve ever seen and been up ( in a cable car of course) , so tragic for the people involved and for the planet. 

Hopeless internet this evening so not even going to try looking at other journals.
