Muttley's Musings

Forget-me-not

Took the camera for a walk after tea this evening. The light wasn't great and there was a bit of drizzle in the air, but I persevered. I went around the fields at the back of the village, and took a new route. As I was heading back towards the housing estate I noticed this small clump of bright blue flowers in the hedge bottom. I took a couple of pictures and this one has come out OK.

I wasn't sure what sort of flowers these were, flowers are not my strong point, and I didn't really know where to start searching on the web (image searches tended to come back with bluebells), so I had to send a photo to my research assistant (Mum) who consulted here wildflower books and confirmed that they were Forget-me-nots.

A nice bit of colour on a bit of a dull day.
