More Sandcastles

This morning it was drizzling so we had a game of scrabble after breakfast.  This is the first game CyclopsJnr has played properly, and with just a little help he managed to score well over 200.

The forecast was for rain all day, but it cleared mid-morning so we went out fishing again.  We got a couple of small pollack - not big enough to be worth eating.  I took the boat back up to the house when we got back in, and CyclopsJnr played on the sand.

After lunch we took a load of stuff back to the car, and popped along to Achiltibuie Stores to get some pocket money sweets.  We also looked at pretty things in the Fisk Gallery (and bought a few).

We had time for one last go on the beach before dinner (to try out a new bucket and spade procured in Lochinver which are to be left here instead of carting them backwards and forwards), again building dams, pools and streams as well as elaborate castles.

After dinner we played Yahtzee, and CyclopsJnr smashed it with 344 (double Yahtzee to get that) against his father's rather measly 258.
