Raat yunh dil mein teri khoee hui yaad aayee
Jaise veeraaney mein chupkey sey bahaar aa jaye
Jaisey sehra on mein howley se chaley baadey naseem
Jaisey beemaar ko bey wajhey Qaraar aa jaaye

English Translation

Thus your forgotten memory came to my heart at night
Like spring that comes silently to the wilderness
Like breeze that starts gently in the desert at dawn
Like relief that comes unbidden in a man's illness.
