Symbolic?

These apples seemed to sum up my situation at work. On Friday I was given three options for a permanent position - completely my decision as to which I go for.

Two were pretty much the same as I’m doing now, so not really what I want, and while the third option was better and I would take it if it was the only way I could stay, it was a bit of a step back and not what I’d been hoping for.

Following a meeting yesterday, however, it appears that, like the fourth apple in my picture, another option is emerging. Fingers crossed that it’s ‘the one’!
