Myna Birds

A loud chirping outside this morning, but I wasn't quick enough with my camera to capture the five bedraggled Myna birds lined up on the panelling just outside the front window ..instead I caught three...well two and a half I suppose....Taking shelter and resting there for around ten minutes. They must have been so weary from all the rain, which has finally eased off this afternoon. Flood warnings and evacuations are still in place, and so much damage to so many properties and belongings, very sad.
Another quiet day indoors, reading..M took a day off and spent most of it with the gfriend, but we did have a late breakfast together...a very fine omelette in toasted Turkish bread.
