Waiting for the Whistle?

Spent some time last night posting a blip only to discover afterwards ... there it wasn't! By then it was late and I wanted to sleep. So replacing it with a different photo, in case the first was too small or something (?) - an unintended back blip. The corvids were standing perfectly still in this field, and were spaced as if ready to start a game. Most striking.
