The Frame

The weather today was perfect and should stay this way for the rest of the week. It was a good day for taking photos and I got a really good selection of them which made choosing a Blip tonight very difficult.

Daughter T woke me around 2am this morning feeling sick and I don't think I really fell asleep again. She has been in bed the whole day with a bug and thank goodness she is feeling a little better this evening.

After breakfast we lay at the pool and caught a bit of a tan. Then after lunch we went down to the beach and the boys had a wonderful time in the waves. I managed a few more lighthouse views.

We went back to the pool so that son S could play on the water slides. While we were sitting there one of the vervet monkeys paid us a visit. They are very cheeky to come through the pool area with all the people around but they know that it's only the staff that they really have to be afraid of and they keep a good eye out for them.

Late afternoon we took the scooters up to the shops and bought some meat for a braai. The hotel prepared the fires, made pap and gravy and had some live entertainment. It was lovely sitting outside and enjoying our meal.

A perfect vacation day except for a sick child. I think the charcoal pills will have her sorted out by tomorrow and she will be able to enjoy the sunshine and beach.
