A day out at the Weald & Downland Living Museum where you can see an entire 'village' of historic buildings. These are not reconstructions, but are buildings that have been removed from their original sites (often to save them from being lost forever) and lovingly rebuilt, timber by timber in their new home.

Needless to say, I loved the traditional gardens built around them the most.
