Cambridge and Madrid

A busy day. Over to Ely to catch a train to Cambridge and walked to Downing College where the Prince's Teaching Institute was hosting a residential enrichment weekend I had been asked to speak at with my colleague Claire. A lecture and introduction was followed by a fieldwork visit to Parker's Piece. There was an Asian Mela weekend and an observation wheel, which we went on - hence the photo. I then had a lift to Stansted, where I checked in - always pay for Fast Track security by the way... and then kicked around - flight was delayed and arrived at midnight in a very humid Madrid - lift to the accommodation arriving at 1am....
