Our Day at the Sea

Karen and Caroline came across to Hoy on the ferry, not as cargo but foot passengers. Luckily they had both left their accordions at home.  The sunny day was well spent; wandering around Rackwick, investigating the Hoy Kirk, eating at the Hoy Café, speaking to Erland about his beekeeping, drinking tea, watching CMC's nephew cut silage and hearing about Aunty Muriel's rubber boot going overboard the dinghy on Fara in the 1960s.

Must sign off, the tide's coming in.
