Fairy Tale Day 2 - Lazy Border hopping

Today was unexpectedly grey & later very rainy but we did still manage to eat out in the evening, meeting -as we did many times during the week- strangers! I acually took no good pictures today as we spent most of the day in the car crossing the following borders:
German to Austria
Austria to Switzerland
Switzerland to Austria
Austria to Germany.

Yesterday afternoon as we left the motorway from Munich to Zürich at Lindau (right on Austrian border), there had been a huge tailback heading towards Munich as German police were checking all the cars in preparation for the forthcoming G7 meeting near Garmisch at  the weekend. I feared we were to have delays ourselves. Well, not one check at any crossing & Annie totally confused as to which country she was in!
