Roses are red

Darcy Bussell.  A beautiful deep red rose and as it fades it has a purple tinge to it.  Flowered better than ever this year and the black spot has kept off too.
Only 4 for lunch today, but we enjoyed sitting outside in warm sunshine.
Popped over to see No1 son and d-i-l as they celebrated 36 yers of marriage today.  As one of them has Covid, it was a cup of tea and slice of cake in the garden (at a distance!)
Cameron is putting up a fight at Wimbledon as I do this.  Fingers crossed!
