Or the barn out the back. Not sure if it's as old as the main part of the building, but certainly looks like it could be 16th century. This is the lovely NTS owned farm by our campsite.

A gorgeous day. Allanbank is well worth a visit. A very unstuffy and welcoming historic house. Kirkstone Pass Inn is also a lively place for a pint - spectacular views. Lovely people at both.
