Cafe

My new basket arrived for my bike today so that’s todays blip sorted. The sun was shining so S and I went on a bike ride to the cafe at Calgary. Fairly quiet roads, an odd encounter with a bus driver who stopped to ask if I’d ever cycled on the road before because it was very dangerous especially with a little one. I told him I was a competent cyclist and familiar with the road. I know he meant well but I can guarantee he wouldn’t have stopped to tell a man the same thing. At the cafe we had carrot cake and mushroom soup. My riding companion’s favourite thing about the bike is going fast on long smooth stretches of road and singing.
