Jumping Flea

Did you know that ukulele is a Hawaiian word that translated means 'jumping flea'. The story goes that the Hawaiians felt that the uke player's fingers, as they quickly and nimbly played this humble instrument, looked like jumping fleas.
I'm spending some time with my fav uke (yes, I have more than one) practicing the songs that our 35 member ukulele ensemble is playing.
