Dunnotter Castle

Dunnotter Castle near Stonehaven is a very well visited tourist attraction in the North East of Scotland. The drama of the setting high on cliffs is splendid and reaching it requires a great number of steps both up and down. Many international visitors there today enjoying the history of the Earls of Keith, and their part in saving of “the honours of Scotland” the Scottish equivalent of the Crown Jewels now in Edinburgh Castle.
