In the middle of a most frustrating day with things that didn't work properly, it was good to sit and relax in St Giles Cathedral, listening to Wilf Packvance (see December 19) improvising with the Hungarian violinist, Jonny Chang, and Steve Kettley ( of Salsa Celtica) playing the saxophone, during Wilf's regular Wednesday lunchtime recitals.
