The Birthday Pavlova

Two weeks ago I made the meringue case for a birthday pavlova for my brother, the day before his birthday, and the day before Covid hit the family. This afternoon I crawled out of bed to add the cream and strawberries so that we could (very quietly and belatedly) celebrate my brother’s birthday before his return to Singapore tomorrow. And now I’m going to crawl back to bed...
