EYES TO THE SKIES

I came across a row of young swallows while walking in the dunes near the smelly factory. This one was looking particularly hopeful, and there were certainly a lot of airborne insects about for the adults to scoop up. Also scooping up food for youngsters were a pair of stonechats (extras). They were desperately trying to distract me away from a particular patch of ground, so I didn't bother them for long. The female looked a bit skinny - I hope she found some grub(s) for herself.
