C for Cheesy Chips

We very rarely have Cheesy Chips in our household, but today was an exception.

Our car failed it's MOT today. Nothing serious - the usual, tyres (expected), brakes & a "boot". I had to drop the car off yesterday after work, then cycled home. I cycled to work this morning after being ensured the car will be ready to collect at around 5pm.

So after work today, I cycled to the garage & got there just gone 5. And guess what? Our car was not ready. And it won't be ready till tomorrow.
Also, the garage tried to add some extra costs due to an "unforeseen" problem that was not on the original quote.

Following some heated exchanges in words over the phone & the service desk, it was on the bike for me. Fuming. The wind against me all the way and I was bloody starving when I got back home!

This is where the bad news stopped: dinner was made by my wonderful wife, kept warm in the oven, with a salad on the side, dressing included. So Pizza, Garlic bread & cheesy chips with salad, it was!

Yum yum in my hungry tum!
