Backyard Gardens
Growing up on a small hardscrabble farm I imagine that just like riding a bike, muscle memory would kick in I could hop on a tractor and plow and harrow a new field to get it ready for planting while digging out and hauling off the rocks for a stone wall (in New England if rocks were a cash crop we all would have been rich). Anne and Jon are becoming "farmers" of a different sort and I admit to being impressed with the yield a small suburban "backyard" can produce. Just the same, I think I'll leave the work and effort to the younguns and limit my role to being their official photographer.
