To the Caves

We all headed to see the ice caves near Vik. It was spectacular with some pretty hairy clambering around on ash covered ice but the provided crampons did their job well. The blip shows the elevated view from the cave.

After the glacier and ice caves, we went to the black sand beech at Vik and then had a quick drive to find some Puffins (see extra).

On the way back to our base, Annie and I stopped at Skógafoss whilst the others went to Seljalandsfoss.

Another great day, the rain held off till the drive home and we’re all slightly sun kissed!
