Off to Vegas!!

3 am start ..... 4:20 am taxi to the airport .... 6:15 am flight to AMS
3.5 hrs in AMS then 10:40 hrs flight to LAS.

It was a looooong journey and unfortunately there was no room in the business class to upgrade. But luckily we had a full row and my back pain was under control.

We landed in Vegas just after 3 pm in the afternoon - local time.

Took an Uber to the Flamingo Hotel and found ourselves in a loooooong queue for check in ..... it took over an hour before we got to our room.
Not what I had envisioned LOL

But hey ho we are here - it is hot and the place in crazy.

We went for a walk in the heat and then to the bar for a cocktail .... a "yard" of margarita .... after that we crashed to bed - it was not even 10 pm - but 6 AM UK time - it had been a loooooong day for us.
