Today .....

our 39th wedding anniversary ..... he worked, I took Little B over to Ro's to see the dog trainer, then went to get my hair done.  Her partner's daughter has offloaded her dog there for the foreseeable future and the idea is that we can introduce the dogs so that they can spend some harmonious time together.  Although B is a pretty chilled dog, the other one is only two and rather vociferous and B doesn't like it one bit.  Anyway, first session over and they did seem to be getting along peacefully until the door bell rang and Snitch went into overdrive.  On their walk, Snitch had to have his lead back on as he persisted in barking at poor B .... he wants to play but doesn't know how to go about it.  Hopefully in time .....  B then found this baby mouse hiding near the pond and by the time we saw him nuzzling at something it had died.   There are no marks on it so maybe it was fright.  Anyway I guess he's a ratter and this is his instinct.
