Time for a moth blip.
This is the Swallow-tailed moth. It is not difficult to see why it has that namehe given that its shape resembles the Swallowtail butterfly.
It is a fairly common moth found almost anywhere in the U.K.
Anyone who knows anything about moths will recognise that it is resting on an egg carton having just been taken out of the moth trap at Leighton Moss.
