Summer Today

Well I never! Summer is here today !
22° with a cooling breeze which is perfect for sitting outside without overheating.

What a day it has been too. It’s hard to know what to follow, the tennis at Wimbledon, the Tour in France or the pantomime at Westminster. With the anger mounting about the timescale of the handover of the premiership there will be lots more drama to watch for the next few days.

I’m looking forward to meeting up with SooB this evening and hoping that Magpie can come too but she seems to be beyond mobile contact.

My observation about the decline in the rabbit population in the gardens seems to have been hasty. The presence this morning of a mother and baby ( in the extra) on the steps outside, makes me wonder if I was correct in my assumption of a declining population.
