A good sport!

The school didn’t originally need me to come in for sports day today but yesterday they asked me to look after the form of a teacher who’s off sick.

It was a fantastic day. It started with a parade, with each form waving banners - many with pictures of their tutors on - and ably led by one student dressed up as their mascot, which was hilarious, then the GCSE Dance students gave us an incredible taste of their talents.

At one point, a dinosaur asked me if I knew who she was. It was the girl who’d said I was her ‘emotional support animal’ a couple of weeks ago! I told her she could be my ‘emotional support dinosaur’. Everyone should have one!
